Textured Ceiling Removal

RPH's 90% dust-free textured ceiling removal (Popcorn Ceiling) service is a smart, cost-effective property upgrade solution. Our ceilings enhance the feel of height, length and width, vastly improve brightness, and, of course, improve air quality. We offer a turn-key service or incremental service.

Phases

1) Removal that is 90-95% dust-free
2) 1x or 2x compound application(s) Non previously painted typically 1x compound skim and previously painted x2 compound skims.
3) The new ceiling is sanded and polished by hand perfectly flat to a level 4/5 finish.
4) We then apply 2x primer applications to the ceiling, identifying and correcting imperfections.
5) Last, we apply 2x finishing coat applications of Benjamin Moore premium ceiling paint. We make no profit on paint material. We hope this was informative and gives you an idea of process.

Pricing

We calculate price by the SQ/FT. The price PSF depends on varying factors like:

1) location
2) SQ/FT total
3) house or condo or stairwell
4) ceiling height
5) property build post 1991
6) ceiling previously painted

These are important factors; for example if the property build is pre 1991 build it would require testing for asbestos per provincial protocol and we can assist in a referral for this.
